Known – especially to the stars – for its custom-made and personalized jewelry, Thea Jewelry unveils for this summer an embroidered linen kit made in collaboration with Kisany, a Belgian company that offers training to more than a hundred women in the DR. of Congo and Rwanda.
A solidarity initiative
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the profits collected from the sale of the kits will be invested in projects set up by Kisany. Among the projects; finance a 6-month training program in agro-ecology, offer educational programs and provide financial support in the 2 Kisany partner workshops in Goma, DR Congo and Kigali, Rwanda. The objective is to get women out of precariousness by having them acquire new skills in different fields and thus be able to offer them the opportunity to free themselves financially through their work.
High quality Belgian linen
The pencil case is made from 100% Belgian linen from Libeco. It also bears the inscription ” Madame beams » handmade by talented embroiderers from Goma, DR Congo.
Each kit offered in limited edition requires an average of 15 hours of work and is embroidered in the same typo as that used for Thea Jewelry jewels. The inside of the case, lined with pretty colorful fabrics, is the little extra touch that makes this collaboration a real summer must-have.
Shop until May 4 on Thea Jewelry’s website.
